This is the first in a series of collaborative works I and Lagree Fitness look forward to creating. The idea stemmed from trying to implement the workout terminology with an actual visual interpretation of what it actually feels like when conducting such exercise.
In this piece, in order to change your mind, you must break that mental block of ignorance. And within that inclusion, you will see results.
JL Skateboards "New Generation"
Colorist Date: 2014
Directed by Ali M.
A great piece showcasing the simplistic coloring capabilities within any editing platform. This was ran through FCPX and took a days worth of coloring to get us up to par.
Motionless in White "America"
Editor | Sound Design Date: 2013
Directed by Slipknot's own Shawn M. "Clown" Crahan via producer David Cho.
A fun and dark project revolving around America's ills via circus performance. Took a couple weeks to get the final locked in picture as you see before you.
Terra plane Sun "Get Me Golden"
Editor Date: 2013
Directed by Noel Maitland.
"Get Me Golden" is a beautiful piece set in a nostalgic theatre. This was another great collaboration for being able to work side-by-side with the director who also edits, was not only fulfilling but made the process much easier to bounce back and forth.
Twinn Towerz "911"
Colorist Date: 2013
This project was an interesting one, for I worked in Los Angeles as the client worked in Atlanta. We did a remote work-flow where I was able to grade each scene and deliver the filter to the client to then paste onto the footage. Very interesting project, great learning experience on working remotely.
Dreaming Dead "Midnightmares"
Editor | Colorist Date: 2013
Directed by Pete Leininger.
This penny-budget music video is what happens when you clash a cinematographer and a great song together. No money for set or lighting, we made this come together in a surreal montage of dream-like atmospheres.
Portishead "Wandering Star"
Director | Editor | Colorist Date: 2012
This was one of my first directorial's out of film school. I simply wanted to shoot something visual, and with that, I attached myself to this song and created a "fan-film". As the years have passed by, I'm surprised at the following this video has, and it's great to keep something around to remind you of your roots.
